Today is the day: The Olympic Games are starting in Rio de Janeiro.
Since the World Cup 2014 I’m a huge “fan” of Brazil and over time I’ve also fallen in love with their music. Brazilian Portuguese is such a dulcet language and when Brazilian people speak it sounds like a melody.
In the beginning I had only a few songs that I was listening all over again but as time went by I discovered more and more songs and artists and now I’ve got a long playlist with cool Brazilian music. In this post I want to show you my Top 15.
I hope you like it.
Although I don’t speak Portuguese, this language is one of my favorites and I definitely want to learn it. When I heard the songs for the first time, I didn’t understand the lyrics but they stuck in my head anyway. Not until later, I looked up the lyrics and understood what they were singing about.

Seit der WM 2014 bin ich ein riesiger „Fan“ von Brasilien und mit der Zeit habe ich mich auch in ihre Musik verliebt. Brasilianisches Portugiesisch ist eine wirklich wohlklingende Sprache und wenn Brasilianer sprechen, hört es sich immer wie eine Melodie an.
Am Anfang hatte ich nur vereinzelte Ohrwürmer aber mit der Zeit habe ich immer mehr Songs und Interpreten für mich entdeckt und habe nun eine lange Playlist mit cooler Brasilianischer Musik. In diesem Post möchte ich Euch meine Top 15 vorstellen. Ich hoffe, ihr mögt mögt sie.
Obwohl ich kein Portugiesisch spreche, ist es eine meiner Lieblingssprache und ich möchte sie definitiv lernen.
Als ich die Songs das erste Mal gehört habe, habe ich natürlich kein Wort verstanden, doch trotzdem habe ich sie nicht mehr aus meinem Kopf bekommen. Erst später habe ich den Text nach geschaut und erst verstanden, worum es eigentlich geht.
