The whole time I was asking myself how I could summarize all the things and realizations that were going on in my mind. Now I found this one which it so accurate for this past week: alone but not lonely. I was inspired by Sydney Serena’s YouTube series with this title, where she documents her life in New York City and being alone but not lonely.
Create your own sunshine
It’s been one week since my close friend left Mallorca (for now 🤭) and I’ve spent this last week in solitude. But I LOVED it. There was not a single moment where I felt alone, bored or uninspired. Although it’s a journey and never ending process of self development, I can really say that I love myself so much and I enjoy my own company. And I hope that everyone truly comes to this point. It feels freeing, blissful and full of happiness. You really need to create your own sunshine (yes, even here in Palma it was a lot gloomy these last days and also rainy). But always find the sparkle in everything.
It’s okay (and normal!) to not be perfect
And although I didn’t see anyone this week, I wasn’t alone. I kept contact with my close friends via voice messages, zoom calls (or at least half of it 🤣 – insider!) and texts (and gifs – insider as well 🤣), I went to cafés and had other interactions with people I met throughout the day. On top I can say that Palma makes it easy to be in a good mood. I mostly wake up with so much energy, inspiration and a good mood. My routine here is – obviously – far from perfect and I still need to settle into my routine that I’m establishing.
I haven’t committed to longer yoga sessions as planned but I was really consistent with a little flow in the morning, whether it’s five minutes or ten. I definitely feel stronger and more flexible day by day. And only some minutes on the mat make a different, simple but effective.
My mind is full of creative ideas and sometimes it’s hard to implement them all (reminder: you can do anything but not everything!) but I’m giving my best. Also this is a learning process: I am allowed to let go of perfectionism. And: Don’t confuse movement with progress. It’s not about being busy but about doing the right things.



You create your own world – by your thoughts and feelings
Yes, there were moments that triggered me this past week: situations, conversations. But I realized that it only did something to be because I was not in my calm space. Not in my center. I realized what I want more of in life and what is another people’s dream. (Spoiler: It’s THEIR conception of safety, how THEY are seeing life. Not yours! You live in your world and everything you believe is true, is true!) When we have a strong fundament within ourselves, when we trust ourselves and have a strong believe, nobody can throw you off track. Therefore it’s so important to connect each day with your vision, with your best version, your „future“ self. Be her NOW.
I really realized that I’m own the right track when I let my intuition guide me. I love the saying „One intuition at a time.“ Then you can do nothing wrong. When something feels off, trust that feeling. Your body & intuition always know first. THEN comes your mind. Don’t get fooled my your mind.



How to brighten up your mood and find peace and get your energy back
Iif you’re feeling stuck or restless one of the following things:
- Go for a long walk
- Call a friend
- Take a hot shower
- Get a delicious cup of coffee
- Dance in your apartment
- Listen to your fave music (especially 1D music for me these days 🤭)
